01Introduction
Most trips go from the airport to the port and never look back. Three or four days on the mainland bring stone villages, Byzantine hill towns and oracles, and pair beautifully with an island or two.
The usual shape: two nights in Athens, a short road trip (Delphi and Meteora, or the Peloponnese), then the islands. Or end in the mountains of Zagori, the slow finish after a busy start.
